Hide Time is a suspenseful horror game that keeps you on edge from start to finish. the atmosphere is immersive, with eerie environments and chilling sound design. the gameplay focuses on exploration and solving puzzles while avoiding terrifying enemies. while it’s a short experience, it delivers plenty of tension and scares in its runtime. if you enjoy horror games with a creepy vibe and clever mechanics, this is worth checking out :))

Not a bad experience overall. Enemy behavior and animation leave MUCH to be desired and some of the puzzles can be grating, but the level design, atmosphere, and area details are honestly incredible for such a project. If for no other reason than admiring the effort put into the project, I recommend you give it a try. The facts that it's free AND they have a survey to improve the game speaks volumes. They care about this project and I'm personally excited to see where it goes. Music is average. It's nothing to blow you out of the park like Indigo Park or Finding Frankie, but it's certainly not as bad as a lot of mascot horror games. And that can be applied to most of the aspects of this game. Their take on the gear puzzles isn't anything original in the grand scheme of things, but is different from most mascot horror in that it's actually a puzzle and not simply a point and click, so I'm looking forward to more complex puzzles in future chapters. Give this game a try. It costs nothing but your time.

Overall it's an interesting game, but I think they should have put more scares throughout. I mean it's only chapter one so maybe they wanted you to think everything was normal for most of the game, but I think we all know we're here for some spooky stuff so gripping the audience with creepiness should be the goal. I think they could have done a lot better with audio like giving DJ Cat some menacing noises/movements as he chased instead of it just sounding like an action scene and you're being chased by a goofy looking giant stuffed animal. . It's not bad and I really liked the cutscene at the start, but hopefully in the future they'll lean into the horror aspect way harder.
