Greetings everyone! It's been a while since I have last updated you all about There Is No Escape. Especially since the Demo released in January. But I will say, I haven't been sleeping on this game, quite the contrary. I have been making significant progress with this project. Today we will talk about The Full Game, Demo 2, and more!

So let us begin!

There Is No Escape will be receiving a 2nd Demo. Which will replace the current demo build that is live on steam. There is a reason why there is such a big gap between Demo 1 and Demo 2 and I will explain why.

The original story for TINE was supposed to be about a TV Show where you play as 'Platform Bot' Platform Bot was supposed to have been controlled by an employee of the studio where the show was being filmed to try and sabotage it from within. Unfortunately, due to how the story was approached, I felt like it would have fell flat. I didn't have faith that the story would fit to the standards everyone would expect. So now I have completely rewritten TINE's Story.

The Gameplay was also a bit 'experimental' It was a new engine with some slight issues I must admit. But over the past few months I have been refining and adding more to the gameplay to make it not only feel better but to work with the story as well.

Graphics were also very basic. It was to the point so basic, I actually wasn't enjoying just the white and black, with the occasional different colours. As such, we have completely overhauled the visuals, to provide a much more eye-catching experience.

Audio was nearly non-existent in the first demo. Voice Acting, jumping, and button selections. That was it, now the new demo has brand new sounds that make the game come to life.

In Demo 1, Settings weren't an option. Which meant the player couldn't turn down audio levels, or tweak anything else. This has since been rectified in the new Demo as I wanted to make the game as accessible as I possibly can.

There Is No Escape is now on it's way to becoming a fully fledged game. The story has just been finished, casting voice actors for the characters is now underway, and me making the rest of the levels won't be too hard! I can't give a full estimated release date, but I can say that 2025 is likely to be the year this game releases.

There is so much I want to talk about with the full game, but some things are best left unsaid for the time being. But I can say I am definitely excited for what is to come. And I hope you all are too!

I know it is too early to look towards the future of There Is No Escape. Especially since the first game isn't even finished. But I have definitely got plenty of ideas for this series going forwards. I have already started early planning for There Is No Escape 2, which will probably be quite a different experience compared to this game. More news on that in the coming months.

I have also been talking with someone about potentially making 'There Is No Escape VR' a Virtual Reality experience of the game which would take you into the world as you try and escape!

Don't expect too much information about TINE 2 or TINE VR any time soon. But please look forward to the full release of There Is No Escape!
