It feels like a downgrade from D6 to D8. Of course, higher numbers can be rolled with single dice, but the chance of multipliers goes down. And the multiplier is exactly what brings the high scores. I think overall it is worse to increase the dice tier above D6. Is it just a wrong assumption, or am I seeing this correctly?...

Alright, what obvious thing am I missing to do this achievement? Apparently tons of people have already done this and somehow I've missed it up to this point (ascension 20). Anyone able to toss me a bone?

I'm at Ascension 19 and still don't get exactly how Meta Dice work. I'll describe my tactic so far: I'm putting an effect multiplier in the middle (slot 11), if possible a d20 to get the effect on all spots around it. Beneath ( slot 17-19) i put rerollers. Slot 3 and 5 are score multipliers. Then in the slots around the score multipliers i put scorers. I hope you know what i mean, scorers will be affected by the score multipliers and, at least some of them, by the effect multiplier and the score multiplie...
