In GreenGuardiansVR, you'll meet two faces you may be familiar with: influencers LeFloid and Itzjanina. LeFloid slips into the role of the head of E.V.I.L. in the game and tries to convince you of the supposedly perfect future with charm and humor. Itzjanina, who plays the rebel Alena, helps you uncover the machinations of E.V.I.L. and fight the megacorporation.

In June 2024, filming took place in Berlin. After some preparations were made on the first day (visiting the studio, choosing outfits, taking group photos with the team), the second day started shooting with LeFloid: LeFloid sat in the make-up for some time, where he was given his futuristic make-up. After that, his sequence was filmed in front of a green screen.

The same procedure took place on the third day - but this time Itzjanina was also there. She was also given a styling by our make-up artist to match the setting. In addition to filming Itzjanina's scenes, the photo shoot also took place that day, where photos of both Itzjanina and LeFloid were taken.

Last year at the end of August 2024, the annual video game trade fair Gamescom took place in Cologne - and we were also there with GreenGuardiansVR. The game could be played and tested at the ARD stand with up to four people for five days.

We were really pleased with how many people showed interest in GreenGuardiansVR and wanted to try the game. It was great to see that through this game we were able to give many visitors a first point of contact with virtual reality and also inspire VR enthusiasts.

But we were not only visited by players, but also by some influencers. Of course, Itzjanina must be particularly mentioned here, who plays an important role in GreenGuardiansVR: she plays the rebel who helps you take down the mega-corporation E.V.I.L. to stop. In addition to her, Haselnuuuss could often be found at the ARD stand. And of course we shouldn't forget the real star guest at the ARD stand: Bernd das Brot.

Gamescom was not only the first big presentation of our game, but it was also an opportunity for us to get feedback from a broad audience. Big thanks go to all the players who took the time after playing to give us their opinion about GreenGuardiansVR.

A highlight of Gamescom for us was the nomination for a Gamescom Award. It was a huge honor to be nominated in the Games for Impact category as it shows that our game is not only fun, but also makes an important contribution to climate change awareness.
