In the past I was able to move the front register, but now I can't ???

Not sure why but it seems no matter the resolution I choose it lags. I play many other games with no issues. Love this game but so much lag. Can you please fix ?

Is there a setting to brighten the store lights at evening/night it seems kinda a little too dark ? I didnt see any in settings but not an expert in those. If not can ya brighten them a little bit, I did notice they brighten up some when ya walk under them, but then go darker when ya pass by them , can they stay on until ya switch off lights? just a suggestion,...
