Very short but at the same time very good visual novel. For me it was an absolutely spontaneous purchase. I was ready to make a payment, when randomly spotted Banebush and added to my cart, that was already filled with a bunch of other games at that moment. And eventually it turnt out to be a good addition to my library.

So, what should you expect? As I said, VN is very short. Most likely you will finish it within one evening. Two at best, if you are going to get all the achievements and endings. Local atmoshphere is just great - exactly what you need if you were going to bed. Music is on the par with the atmosphere.

VIsuals? Initially I was on the fence about red/black visual style and was thinking to tune it down a bit (you have such option) but eventually left it as it is. And it was right decision, since such style fits VN very well. As to the story - simple. I'd even say grounded. But spooky and intresting nonetheless.

And yeah, the story is indeed nonlinear. Literally each your choice may lead to a different ending. Endings are different, some of the are rather simple while others are more convoluted. There is no dumb or filler endings, all of them fit the story very well. And after getting all of them, story will still leave you guessing what the hell exactly happened there. Should I also mention the price? I guess yes, since for these money the game is definitely overdelivering.

Few laughs, few scares.
It's quite easy to do 100% of achievements, if you're into that.
The game is pretty cheap too, so if you want a one evening folklore adventure - give it a try.
