Hey Survivors,

First off, sorry for the radio silence, we’ve been deep in the frost, quietly working away on Angst, and we’re finally coming up for air.

The good news?
Development is very much alive, and we’re pushing hard to make this the best version of Angst yet.

We also have a little spoiler to drop:
Base building is coming.
Yep, we’ve decided to bring this feature into the game. It’s still early, but we’re building out systems that will let you carve out a bit of safety in the cold, hostile world - and defend it.

Alongside that, we’re adding other cool features, which we’ll be sharing more about soon. Expect updates with more detail and some fresh visuals in the near future.

Thanks for sticking with us. We’re still here, still building, and still committed to delivering something special.

I love the game so far. My only issues with it are these few items. -Things break waaaay too fast. Hit three trees and your axe is broken. Get hit by a single wolf and your gear is broken. -Cooked food doesn't do much at all. Everything is a bit fast, you can't even get to another area before you have to either eat or make a fire or sleep. -Stuff needs to stack a little bit more. 3 is not feasible. Survival is one thing, but I felt like it was too difficult to be as fun as it could have been. I surviv...

Hey Survivors!

We’ve been in development, making tweaks and improvements to Angst, and we wanted to share a quick update. Thanks to all of you who participated in our playtests and community discussions—your feedback has been invaluable! We’ve been listening carefully and are working hard to refine the game based on your insights.

:fire: What’s On?

Survival Mechanics Overhaul – We’re doubling down on deepening survival elements while keeping them accessible and engaging. Every decision will matter.

Combat Adjustments – Encounters are being fine-tuned to feel more intense and rewarding. Every fight should be a battle for survival, not just a formality... also, new enemy types are now lurking in the frozen dark!

Base Building? Maybe! – Many of you have asked about this, and we’re exploring ways to implement a meaningful, strategic base-building element.

A Bit Revised Art Direction – We’re experimenting with some tweaks to the visual style to enhance the overall atmosphere and make Angst even more immersive.

Story – Peeling Back the Layers

While ANGST is, at its core, a survival experience, we always envisioned it as something more—a story that unfolds as you endure. With that in mind, we’ve been layering in new narrative elements to heighten immersion and mystery.

Your feedback has played a huge role in shaping these changes, and we’re committed to making Angst the best experience possible.

Feedback Playtest

#1 : Since the inventory is limited, you should allow items and other objects to be stacked in piles of 10 (except for tools and weapons). #2 : Additionally, allowing tools and weapons not to break but to be repaired instead would be a very useful addition....

Hello. Tried to do the play test, but it says invalid platform. I'm on a Mac, and I thought this game was for Mac also? Is the play test only for PC?

Is this game 32 bit?

I see this warning message on the store page: Notice: This product is not compatible with macOS 10.15 Catalina or above. Click here for more information. Please fix this for the new 64 bit situation.
