The new game trailer was covered by IGN's GT channel, and the traffic suddenly going crazy. Thank you all the players who keep following this game. It can make this because of you.

I got a lot of new comments, so that it was updated again!

Old players may feel that a little easier than before, that's because some values and combat detailes changed. I want more new players to go through the demo.

I know I am not skillfull enough to make it very smooth to reach even a 2A game standard. The gameplay experiance now is 99% close to the release version. Sorry it will disappoint some action game players. It's still an old-school style game, including the control.

I am planning the alpha test, if you are interest in joining the test, please add my discord and join the server, tell me that you want to join the alpha test, I will give you a key once it's well prepared. But absolutely TRY THE DEMO FIRST to confirm if you really like it.

Amazing Art Style, fascinating world... BUT JESUS CHRIST THE PARRY...

I am ADORING this game's art style and World... like, absolutely loving it, but Christ almighty LORD UP ABOVE... I'm sorry but the Parry is inconsistent at best, sometimes WORTHLESS at worse. There are times enemies just attack right through it. There are too many moments when I pressed the right mouse button to parry, I SEE our dear Executioner do the animation... Aaaaaaand nope, this lady is just gonna have her machete phase right through his weapon and hit me for free. Nice... It needs some tweaking...

Finally I found the correct tool and correct way to fix all (almost) the camera problems!

1, Aiming mechanic changed. There are not dead angle any more when aiming left side, because the whole body will move.

2, Smoother camera control, and the camera will not go through the wall. (Most situations. If too fast it will still go through) It will shrink the distance like many other 3rd person games.

3, If you are using mouse keyboard, the mouse control is much better.

4, Camera FOV increased a little.

5，Critical stab mechanic changed, it will delay a little bit, makes more tense. Just follow the hint you will make it.

6, Footstep sound added.

- controls layout.. just take a default and make a multiple options. Parry Y is horrible. - menu selection on B - that not how gamepad should works. - can't skip cutscene. - hints useless. it say action, not button. - combat.. whats a crosshair. weird camera angle. no target lock. no any target possibility. need 10 attacks to kill a basic enemy. bad impact. - parry icon always blinking but nothing happens if press it. - parry timings not clear. again no impact. Feels very clunky. not interesting to try ...

My feelings about the demo:

Really interesting story, cool aesthetic and the lore seems to be hinting at something worth paying attention to. But the gameplay is complete trash. Every parrying sequence is just the same enemy attack animation where you smash the parry button until you 1-Hit KO the enemy. Moving is clunky. Shooting is unsatisfying. Melee is worthless. I'm more inclined to ignore combat so I can keep enjoying everything else. This game needs some serious work to be done for a March 2026 release. It feels like it needs...

Any Plans To Implement A Block Button?

The parrying stuff is cool and all, but I would appreciate an option to allow for more *static* or protective defensive play. The ability to block would be helpful for more gradually easing myself into the parry-focused gameplay.

There's a cool game here but it's not there yet

Two things I noticed right away. Your tutorial is cryptic at best and punishingly obtuse at worst. This is the beginning section of the game. A point of which you are on boarding the player and teaching them the systems of your game. I ran out of ammo and when faced with multiple enemies I felt I will need to cheese the game if I'm going to prevail. It's actually quite impressive because it's almost like you're making a game from that era with the mindset of someone from that era without the myriad of exam...
