PSYCHExFUSE DEMO VERSION II NOW AVAILABLE

Hi everyone!

We are proud to announce that Steam Next Fest: October 2025 is upon us and PSYCHExFUSE will be taking part!

To celebrate, we have released a huge update for the PSYCHExFUSE DEMO (VERSION II), featuring our new "battle" system*, a revamped opening cutscene, plenty of polish, and more!

We've also listened to your feedback and improved the pacing in some areas, as well as made some previously-mandatory content optional as to not interrupt the flow of the story too much. We've also made progression more intuitive in some areas as we noticed some points where players were frequently getting stuck. There are also a couple of new achievements!

Old saves are likely not compatible with VERSION II, so if you are mid-way through, we recommend restarting as to not causing any sequence breaks/softlocks.

*We wouldn't recommend trying to fight things head-on - that may end badly for our poor protagonist! ;)

CTD on demo startup?

Hey, so I was really excited to play the demo, but for some reason, when I launch it, the window pops up for half a second (it's a window and the screen is black) and then it crashes. I'm on Windows 11. Does anyone know what causes this?

DEVELOPMENT UPDATE - JULY25

Hi everyone!

It's been a few months since we released PSYCHExFUSE DEMO and we're really happy with how much you all loved it!

We thought we'd let you know that development for the second half of Part 1 (dubbed Part 1:2) is very much underway and our radio silence is us just working very hard! (please believe us). We've got lots in store for you; juicier story bits, more dynamic locations, new threats, and loads of visual & gameplay improvements to what is already available to play in PSYCHExFUSE DEMO - we can't wait to see what you all think!

An official release date announcement will come soon, most likely around Steam Next Fest: October 2025.

Until then, use this doodle from our concept artist to tide you over.

Play the PSYCHExFUSE DEMO today!

Hi everyone!

We're pleased to announce that the PSYCHExFUSE DEMO is now available in time for The Storyteller's Festival 2025! Thank you to the hosts at Two and a Half Studios for having us!

The DEMO covers the first half of Part 1: L.C.D, the rest of which will be releasing some time later this year in Early Access.

Here's a sneak peak of a major area in Part 1, the Main Plexus! Seems something happened there and now it's a bit of a gloomy mess.

We also now have a Discord server - the PSYCHExFUSE LINK TERMINAL[discord.gg]!

If you have any feedback or bugs to report - or just want to talk about the game - that's the place!

It's been around a year since we begun work on this project, and we're in disbelief that we actually have something out there! We of course couldn't have done it without all the wonderful support from our family & friends (special shoutout to those who played the prototype with MS Paint maps!)

I think that's about all we have to say for now, we'll hand over to the mysterious voice who can't seem to work a basic piece of technology!
