Demo Patch 1.2

Hello Adventurers,

There is a new and highly requested feature in this update: Minimaps!

While playing you may have noticed it was easy to get lost in the winding paths of the forest. To make navigation a little more sane, we have provided a minimap that updates itself as you explore! This way you can scout out potential locations you may have missed!

The minimap normally appears in the upper-right corner and reveals itself as you explore the map.

When revisiting a map in the future, the outline of the map you've already explored shows up faded, so you can still identify which paths you haven't taken on a new run.

For those that prefer something a little more in-their-face, the new Minimap Toggle hotkey will let you switch between minimap modes now. This center overlay view lets you see the layout of the map directly over the screen.

Other Additions:

New Artwork for the Wizard class added. (Thanks Scarlet!)
Added an auto pause feature, which will pause the game if the player gets hit while the window is unfocused (toggleable in Settings)
Map starting and ending locations no longer have visible edges, but instead have blocked zones.

Bugfixes:

Frog tongues are no longer detached from the Frogs themselves.
Fix a bug that caused monsters to be hit multiple times by a piercing attack while spawning new monsters.

Demo Patch 1.1

Updates:

- Ground textures have been updated with more detail and variety.

- Added damage vignette to HUD overlay when taking damage for more damage feedback.

Fixed Bosses getting stuck in terrain outside of boss arenas.
Bandages item description now clarifies that it is a cast.
Merchant inventories and player inventories have slightly more room for item descriptions now and display equipment descriptions correctly.
Auto-aim range slightly increased to improve usability.
Chapter 2 weapons were removed from the demo Blacksmith crafting lists (Didn't have the materials to craft them anyways).

Bugfixes:

Fixed a memory leak
Fixed a rare bug where save files would not properly be reloaded.
Pressing negating movement directions now properly halts the player's animation instead of walking in place.

Expect more improvements and bugfixes to the demo version as time goes on. We have received a lot of helpful feedback and support from the community and we thank you for taking the time to play and enjoy our game!

Adventures in Lestoria Playable Demo Releases March 30th!

Come get a first look at the playable demo of Adventures in Lestoria! Available on March 30th, the public will have a chance to play in a dungeon-crawling classic action RPG experience!

Take on the role of a fighter, as you explore and travel through the lands and surrounding countries of Lestoria in search of adventure!

Your quest begins in search of slimes in a nearby forest to restock on potion-making supplies, to soon discover that bandits have attacked the locals and have caused hysteria and chaos. Who would do such an awful thing, and can you put an end to their crimes?

Experience and play through the entirety of the first chapter of the game!

We look forward to hearing about your adventures and how the game experience feels. We have been hard at work to craft a fun and enjoyable experience to give you a taste of what is to come.

The demo will continue to remain available after the event period ends!

Public Demo is now available!

It's finally here! The public demo of Adventures in Lestoria is now available on the Steam front page.
