It's a great brain burning puzzle game. It's more fun in small doses, so I do one puzzle a day like I'm my dad doing sudoku.

My only warning to prospective players is that the difficulty ramps up very quickly at the start. The first few levels I was like "this is gonna be way too hard for me..." but I'm glad I persevered.

Overall, a fantastic DROD-like game. Recommended if you really like DROD. The puzzles aren't frustratingly difficult, but will make you stop and think.

Some thoughts below (spoiler warning):

The journal system is really cool. I think it would be nice if it had notes on objects in addition to enemies though.

I really liked bomb bugs. They're simple to move where you want them to go and felt pretty creative and intuitive to work with.

I didn't care much for the angry eyes at first because getting sniped from across the room never feels fun, but unlimited undo makes them a lot more tolerable. It's also fun having them blast other enemies away.

The world map opens up pretty early on, but the game ultimately ends up feeling pretty linear towards the end. To complete the game, you have to complete every puzzle and many of the lategame puzzles are laid out in chains, which means if you get stuck in a room, you can't continue exploring and trying other puzzles until you complete that one.

Both player and enemy movement in this game is refreshingly simple and doesn't fall into the same pitfalls as DROD does with complicated controls and movement (wraithwing movement comes to mind).

The puzzle design is mostly perfect. There were only two puzzles I didn't really enjoy: Invincible (I felt like I just had to brute force this one) and Cycles (This was too trial and error heavy for me).

I kind of wish the game had the story and world-building DROD has to keep me more invested in progressing through puzzles, but I also think the game is fine as is. You won't get mired in long cutscenes and dialogue in this game.

The level editor is fairly simple and intuitive to use, but a tutorial would be nice. I couldn't figure out how to add more rooms. It would also be nice if there were an easier way to share and import levels.
