End of July Report

July has come and gone, and we wanted to share some of what we've been tinkering on during that time!

The school map is rapidly becoming one of our favorite haunts, here's a sneak peak:

On another note - if you like Survivorlikes, we recommend trying out the "Ghost of a Chance" app now on your computer in the lobby!

We've made some balance and quality of life updates to the game as well.

First off, we figured it's time to reward the players that keep Bob and Susan alive for a change. Hey, they're still expendable but you'll end with a little more cash if one or both of them survive.

There's a new feedback form as well! We appreciate all thoughts and suggestions :)

Additional fixes and QoL updates include:

Fixed a bug that can occur with screen resolution settings on first startup.
Fixed placement of some evidence items (IE: EMF detector) in certain rooms.
Fixed a bug where multiple subtitles would appear for one voice line.
Limited Bob and Susan reacting to a photo taken of them to one reaction per photo.
When ordering Bob or Susan to place an item in a room, if no item is equipped it will now default to the move command.

So i just got pushed out of the room by standing at the doorway after telling one of the team to move to a location. They pushed past me and i got moved into the hall. I got to go into the bedroom before loads of the the same entity spawned and kill us all lmao...

Progress on the Church map and various general updates

Hello ghost hunters,

Development continues apace! We've continued to build out the church map - as you can see, the hiding closet on this map is a bit different ;)

Rooms are fleshed out, buildings are built, now it's just a matter of filling out the level with a ton of events and scares (some of which are unique to the church!).

Have any kinds of scares you particularly want to see on the church map? Join our discord[discord.gg] and hit us with some suggestions / feedback!

Aside from the church, more events and scares have been added to the first map alongside a few secret features for the lobby, a new optional brightness slider step during the tutorial, more recognized voice commands, etc. There's a bunch of improvements going into the demo so don't fear that the church is taking up all of our development resources.

We'll be announcing the third map theme soon, thank you all for your continued support!

End of March Updates

Greetings ghost hunters! Here's what we've been up to with the last few mini-patches:

Added a few fun features to the Idle Game on the Lobby's PC.
Fixed some controller support issues for the Lobby's PC apps.
Fixed bugs with the flashlight / camera entering a stuck state.
Twitch Integration and voice commands saw some additions and fixes. Should work more consistently now when commanding individual investigators such as "Bob move hallway" or "Susan place living room".
Candle equipment is now tracked on the whiteboard as the other equipment items are.
Trasgo's have been observed doing more [Redacted]
Ectophages have a more interesting unique ability now
Bob and Susan will now do their own spirit box sessions randomly if holding one, without needing explicit player permission all the time.
New voice lines and interactivity for both Bob and Susan.
The bedroom door now opens in the opposite direction, in response to feedback.
CCTVs now show the room they're set to.
Bob and Susan will give brief explanations of items given to them if you're in the middle of the tutorial.
Fix the Failed Mission stat.
