Here's an update on the current design of Fort Settlements and Buildable Pieces. This features a Mesopotamian-esque style city. This current map area and primitive features will be seen in the tutorial mode.

Includes moat/irrigation trenches alongside new path texture styles and buildings. As well as some basic special monuments and religious buildings. Included are boat assets that have yet to be configured within the building system of a shipyard.

Note: This development update for the pre-alpha build is still currently at a conceptual stage. Assets, Artworks, design, themes, and backend systems are still being tinkered.

Includes also primitive units and rendered animated states for the tactical battle modes. An early-scope into the battle system. Can go upwards to 100k rendered units within a scene. Further optimizations are needed to enable a proper pathfinding for these units and of course to be taken into account how RTS elements will be incorporated within the overview battle modes.

In terms of development, the goal moving forward is to finalize a style and theme for this game project. In addition to pivoting more into tangible gameplay footage of the primitive systems. This will coincide with steam page overhaul and updates of capsules for this steam app.

Due to financial strains, this is to be expected to take longer than usual in terms of acquiring a decent kit bash of assets and/or artwork modifications to appear in a sense- a viable conceptual game.

Despite the patchy hot mess of style and assets- more developmental news will be made soon over the coming weeks. Mostly in terms of city-management and city-building alongside nation/grand management of a nation. I.e: Managing more than 3 cities + towns.

Note: Towns will not be something that a player can customize and/or edit, only provincially designated cities can be customized. In addition to ensuring that auto-generated districts and/or ease of customizable cities is implemented for the player to utilize. This is to prevent micromanagement pains that might occur and is something to be tested more-so in the coming future with the expansion of city & town generations.
