Just downloaded the game and I'm using a controller, every time I press new save file I can hear things happening and dialogue being spoken but my screen is black, no graphics pop up at all, and whenever I try to enter game options the whole thing crashes. I've tried both keyboard and controller, and I've restarted my computer a few times and even uninstalled and reinstalled the game, what can I do?...

I can't find it on Steam, and kinda impossible to get it for the GameBoy Color thse days. Guessing the 2013 version for the Virtual Console (Nintendo 3DS) or getting it in one of those retro bundles available for the Nintendo Switch are the only legit ways? Was really hoping to just try it out on the PC like you can with the rest....
