I’m excited to announce the big Halloween update, bringing tons of new content to the game! All the added content is permanent.
🆕 3 New Cats and Their Weapons
Each cat comes with its own unique weapon, for a total of 10 final evolutions to discover!
Two of these cats also feature special Halloween-themed visuals (which, like the rest of the update, will stay after the event).
💥 6 New Permanent Upgrades
Spend your precious Catcoins on 6 new permanent upgrades, including one infinite upgrade for those who love maximum progression!
🏆 Achievements
With this update, the game now has +28 achievements.
🎉 Coming Soon:

• Codex: A detailed guide to view unlocked and yet-to-unlock weapons, as well as their evolution branches.
  
• Halloween Visual Toggle: For those who prefer the classic look, you’ll be able to disable Halloween visuals in the menu.
  
• Progress Tracker: Keep track of your progress on unlockable items that require collecting certain numbers of objects or killing specific enemies.

🔧 General Changes:

• Mobs now teleport instead of being deleted when they are too far away (except for stationary enemies, flies, crying ghosts, and sacks).
  
• The base range for picking up items has been nerfed (but you can now upgrade it to reach even further than before!).
  
• Sprinklers now drop experience (previously, they didn’t drop any XP).
  
• Fixed a bug with the controller in the main menu where focus could be lost.

In this update, I’ve made significant changes to the final boss fight to make the progression clearer and more enjoyable, while also adjusting the balance.

Main changes:

The boss is now invulnerable at the start of the fight. His health is no longer tied to the objects he protects. He will appear invulnerable, without a health bar, and your shots won’t affect him until the objects are destroyed. Once the objects are eliminated, he becomes vulnerable, with a white health bar indicating that he can be attacked.

The boss will only drool during the final phase of the fight, making this stage less punishing but still challenging. He will be more aggressive by changing direction more frequently and slowing down before attacking at the end of his rushes.

The boss's final health bar has been increased to provide better feedback during the vulnerability phase. You’ll see your attacks' impact more clearly, preventing frustration from an overly abrupt ending.
