Thoughts on the game/future hopes

So I'm very much enjoying the game so far, and I've seen other people talk about QOL and new features like saving designs, new weapons like axes and etc. I'm hoping that the dev expands well on the game, I've gotten to the point where I have fire and lightning potion and the lathe and quench barrel. I'm wondering if the dev ever plans to add extra workers, while I enjoy crafting my weapon designs and making them. It does start to become repetitive and a bit boring. so to the devs i found some bugs, if you mine a rock off a wall the rock shoots out, if you step on a weapon and you pick it up you start to fly up for about 2-3 seconds

Am I missing something about the lathe?

It feels like a scam, it was incredibly expensive, it doesn't have any sort of guide or picture of the handle I made to follow, and the handle usually just disintegrates if I try to eyeball it. The one time I did successfully make a handle close to what I made on the design table, it didn't actually increase the value of the weapon at all. What is the point of the lathe? What is the point of designing a handle on the design table if you have to actually carve it out on the lathe yourself with no sort of gu...
