Offense vs Defense is Incomprehensible

How do I know whether a status effect is applied to me or my opponent? Buffed, Shield, Heal: I assume these apply ME, not my enemy. But why are there Defense values atop these cards? These cards only trigger their Buff/Heal when I use them during my Attack - for zero - forfeiting their Defense values. (I had assumed that these statuses (the ones that Buff me) should not trigger on Attack phase, only during Defense phase.) Rage: When I play a card that has Rage, is this Status for me or onto my Enemy? ...

Fragment versus Keep

At the very end of the run, there is an offer to Fragmentize everything I've earned during the run, instead of keeping it. What does this entail? Will this fragmentize stones I've added into my starter deck cards? Maybe show a list of everything that is getting fragged and how much it yields. It would be very valuable to know the 'value-added' from this opportunity - How much extra value am I earning over waiting until I get back to the main Forge and fragmentizing the cards and stones there?...

Some balancing feedback

Hello, I am finding the game quite interesting. I have played a few days ago and today again. It's a bit tricky to get into the right headspace where cards are both consumables and potent things (because you basically need to lose the cards in order to gain fragments). I like the art style and the broadness of the upgrades possibilities. They do need work but it's really compelling. Everything is a consumable except upgrades, which is weird but I can see how it can make the game last much longer, I hope ...

Structural issues with deckbuilding after first few levels

Let's say I've leveled up a bit, so monsters have 800 hit points and are inflicting 150 damage per hit. I've got these ten cards of my own that do 100 damage for 0 cost too. Now all my other cards and stones and cash resources are hidden away from me and I'm given 1000 fragments to work with in a fresh run. I go into this deep-level store and see Common & Uncommon cards that cause 3 damage and Common & Uncommon stones that have 4 damage or 5 shields. Why would I want to buy any of these?? Why would I...

Rage and other Debuffs

Are there any ways to clear Rage that is on myself? Are there any ways to clear Blind, or Stun? Are there any ways to clear Exposed, or Burn, or Bleed? I had a lot of rage and exposed stacked on me, and it looked like there was nothing I could do to de-escalate....

Update 13 - Bug fixes, balancing, ui updates and price update

Hello all! This update has a number of fixes and rebalances, this update also goes over some of the other hotfixes I have worked on over the past few weeks. But in general some major card interactions have been fixes as well as some event fixes.

The other news is after a lot of talking with others and thinking really hard about it, I plan to raise the price to $4.99, but I won't be doing this for a couple weeks as to not just raise it out of the blue.

Balance
[+] Balanced a number of relics to not be so OP
[+] Changed the math for how much it costs to Crystalize
[+] Changed the math for how much it costs to slot a stone
[+] Changed the math for how much it costs to change the cost of a card
[+] Changed the math for how many fragments you gained from fragmentizing stones and cards
[+] Small rebalance of fragment gain from fights

Removed
[+] Removed Purchase all common cards from shop

Update
[+] UI Updates to the Forge screen
[+] Added some clarifying text to victory screen about fragment gains for fragmentizing cards
[+] Stratum 8 now has some events
