TL;DR: Try the demo, it'll take you about 2 minutes to figure out if this is something you enjoy.

Super Meat Boy with lights off. My first thought was "this seems like it's just annoying af" but I still went and tried the demo, and I'm happy that I did.

It's hard for all the wrong reasons, but the retries are fast enough to stay fun in its own way. Painting the ground one death at a time feels almost like a weird take on exploration. There's enough checkpoints in the levels, so progression feels smooth.

Just in case it wasn't clear from the marketing: difficulty seems to be high enough that the game is quite clearly aimed for fans of the genre - or you're someone who's ready to learn here. Even if you did see all the traps normally, the levels would still be somewhat challenging to play through. Nothing too bad (so far), but it seems to be what you'd expect with this name.
