When doing large exchanges the game freezes up, when it is like in the lower millions for exchanging it isn't for long, but I did an exchange holding shift while having 1.2b copper and the game never unfroze and have to close it. Not sure if there is a way to fix this or not on my side. I doubt it is computer hardware/specs since I have the NZXT player three prime which has a 4090 and intel's i9-13900KF...

Why should I spend money on this if youre just going to spam games out? Will this be expanded? Idles are meant for the long-haul, and this one has a price tag.

There may be something up with how the exchange works that is bugged. When holding shift and exchanging it appears like you get the amount at the rate you clicked it at instead of the rate increasing. It then increases to an extremely large sum afterwards. This appears to cause the game to freeze/crash if the sum is too large because it is trying to buy a larger amount than expected possibly....
