i cant be seen with this

I'm in the city area and came across this boarded up exit. How do I get this open? I tried defeating all the enemies in the area but that didn't work. https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3111858757

I'm pretty sure I can no longer progress because the game requires me to jump higher than I normally can. I once did a kick into the air whilst mid air that got my up higher than I can jump, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to do it again so I am now stuck. I made it to the swinging logs area where you have to ascend and I can't figure out a way forward. So now I'm asking for a list of combo attacks, maybe I can figure out how to get that high jump again to proceed....

I'm currently scouring the levels for collectables, and I'm trying to find one that I've missed in the mines, but after a few sweeps I'm not finding any new hidden areas. I do however keep seeing the first open doorway you're forced to walk past early in the stage, and it just... feels weird that it ignores the later established design of it being enter-able. Just so I know to focus my efforts elsewhere, is it meant to not go anywhere?...
