Hello Riders,

We hope you’re all doing great!

Gamescom is still in full swing and we’re super grateful and excited about the positive reaction to Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders!

In case you missed it there was also quite a bit of new info on the game in the past few days

Narrated Trailer

We did a little narrated trailer taking a deeper look into the gameplay of Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders and explaining all about the new multiplayer modes.

First look at the online multiplayer racing mode

If you want to check out some raw, uncommented multiplayer mayhem with lots of crashing developers then these videos might be for you!

You won’t believe how many takes it took to get these right without anyone of the dev team crashing at the wrong moment :D So we hope you enjoy them!

Gamescom

We are still at gamescom until Sunday evening so please feel free to drop by and play the Snow Riders demo! You can also win a limited poster! We’re located at the Indie Arena Booth, Hall 10.2, Booth F010g - E019 Section 1 No 8.

And as a final reminder. We will have an interview with IGN Germany tomorrow (it should air around 12 pm to 1 pm CEST) and we will live stream the game in the Indie Arena Booth Stream on Sunday at 11:25 am CEST https://www.twitch.tv/indiearenabooth

Lots of cool things are happening in the Lonely Mountains this week!

We finally revealed our new game Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders last week and we want to thank you all for the super nice welcome! It really means a lot to us to see how happy everyone in the community is about the new game!

If you’re at gamescom this week, please come by and say hello! We can talk all things Downhill / Snow Riders and you can also play the Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders demo for the very first time! We’re once again part of the awesome Indie Arena Booth and you can find us in Hall 10.2, Booth F010g - E019 Section 1 No 7.

Deutsche Indie Showcase (German Indie Showcase)

If you want to have a first look at the gameplay of LMSR, we will be part of the German Indie Showcase moderated by Gronkh, one of Germany’s biggest and nicest content creators. The show is in German but you don’t need to know any German for the LMSR part.

Awesome Indies Showcase

We’re super happy to have been invited to the Awesome Indies Showcase where we will also show some new and exclusive footage of Snow Riders.

The stream for the showcase starts at 8 pm CEST on the 21st of August.

Xbox Gamescom Broadcast

We can’t say anything official yet but it might be worth to keep an eye on the Xbox Gamescom Broadcast between 5 and 6pm on August 22nd!

IGN Germany

We will be at the IGN Germany gamescom stream on the 24th of August to talk about how the last few years have been for Lonely Mountains: Downhill, and of course also about Snow Riders! The interview will probably go live shortly after noon (CEST time) on the official IGN stream.

Indie Arena Booth Stream

We will play the game live at the Indie Arena Booth stream for half an hour on Sunday, the 25th of August at 11:25 CEST.

So pumped for this game

Lonely Riders is such a good game, I can't wait for this sequel. Only thing I'm questioning is how they'll ensure visual variety across various biomes when it's all snow. Will it feel to repetitive? The footage so far makes it look very repetitive. And of course, will there be snowboards? Also can we get an approximation of a release date? It says 2024, is it November, December? Would love if the devs could be a little more accurate with the date....
