If you were a fan of the very early RPG games (this game, OG The Bard's Tale, etc) this is a fantastically faithful (down to the ruthless difficulty of getting your party leveled up enough to start exploring deeper into the maze) remake that keeps all of the inherent greatness of the original, while adding a small number of quality-of-life options that make it slightly less maddening to play. Absolute keeper.

I didn't like this game when it was new in the 1980s, but still managed to suffer through until the end. Somehow it's even worse and less fun now. I just can't do it. I'm going to go do something more fun instead, like practice my stapler skills on my genitals.

very nice updated dungeon graphics. Was bit disappointed though with tiny monster graphics. Nicely animated, but hardly fearsome. Suggest two clerics on team as this version loves to paralyze your clerics! Expensive to unparalyze them! Save often in town!!!
