7/10... Parece o filho de Secret of Mana/Seiken Densetsu 2 (SNES -1993) and Seiken Densetsu 3 (SNES-1995). Nem tão bom quanto os jogos do SNES, nem tão ruim quanto os remakes.

7/10... Feels like the child of Secret of Mana/Seiken Densetsu (SNES -1993) and Seiken Densetsu 3 (SNES-1995). Not as good as the SNES games, not as bad as Mana remakes.

Overall, I enjoyed this game, although I debated whether to gives a thumbs up or down... 6/10 I suppose.
The gameplay is pretty solid as far as the genre goes, a fair bit of customization for characters, a fair bit of side activity and some of it is kind of fun or challenging...although the replayability is very limited compared to something like Trials of Mana.

Don't play this game if you like good narratives or are expecting a Mana-style story, though, nor if you are trying to connect the lore among the games. I didn't expect anything FF-level or anything, but the narrative is full of nonsense holes, incredibly illogical powers, and unsatisfying or even frustrating decisions (or indecisions) -- easily the weakest in the entire series in my opinion, by a large margin. Only one of the main five party could I feel any sort of connection with and it wasn't the main one; I prefer the less-vocal old protagonists (e.g. Secret) to this nonsense.

Various 'lore' junk in this one kind of complicates any timelines or connections people would try to make with other Mana games, which is already not easy...annoying, but not really that negative...maybe not unexpected.

Somehow, the devs found a way to make flying around a world map HORRIBLE, also, it's crazy! I loved cruising around at top speed in FF games, other Mana games, or anything where you can fly freely, but in this one, if you touch a low-visibility landing point, it stops you cold and asks if you want to land...3rd most infuriating thing in the game.

In spite of all the effort you may put into making 1 party member a tank and attract aggro, it simply won't work on later bosses and they'll always go after whoever you control. 2nd most infuriating thing in the ga--INTERRUPTED, KNOCKED DOWN, haha good luck playing a caster casually.

All-in-all, the gameplay and figuring out what classes sucked or worked or how to synergize was pretty fun and the nemesis enemies and bosses were pretty good in spite of the aggro thing...fun enough for a thumbs up in spite of my disappointment at the story.

Back to the weak story - one of the worst parts for me is that I've come to expect a Mavolia/Anise/etc. tie in to explain where the villain gets their power...the main villain here gained its powers through mary sue writing, basically, or whatever the inverse of shonen-style guts/willpower/plot armor is. The villains have never been terribly complex in Mana, and it's no different here, although it feels like the writers thought they were making one (that's the best way I can think to put it). Still...I relate to the villain more than the main character...he is insufferable in my opinion...every decision he makes angered me further and...

...the ending sucks because he's a moron and his friends and everyone around him at DECISION TIME are all morons and have no idea how powerful a mcguffin the sword is. Seriously, after all he went through and all the stupid crap he failed to do to save the one he claimed to love (literally 3 REALLY good chances), he let her go and remarried but screwed that lady over too by holding onto the first one the whole time (amulet), what a scumbag piece of garbage he is. He deserved the villain's pain, not the one who was the villain. #1 most infuriating thing in the game, the final nail that made me STRONGLY consider thumbs downing.

the game at the start and middle is great.
u unlock new classes - and its very fun to try all this classes out - and to unlock them is motivating to keep u playing.
but then u hit the point where got all classes already - and thats where it hit me with the "well i dont feel motivated to keep playin"

i still finished the game, but the 3 last chapters felt super dragged out.
and i didnt enjoy finishing it.

story is pretty mid, and characters dont have alot of depth.
first 10-15 hours were fun tho.
so i can still recommend, if u like to try out all the classes & elements.
action combat is fun too.

combat definetly the most fun thing bout this game for me - story mid, graphics are good.
maybe get it on sale or somthin.
