Launch of version 1.1.0

Hi everybody!

Today finally arrives the version 1.1.0, in this notice I want to show every new thing it brings so let’s get to it!

From the start, one of the more notable… A new cover image!

It has been redesigned, but maintaining the old composition. This cover will be the one that represent Countless Army in every site, included the initial meno of the game

The other news is a compilation of the advances I’ve published throughout the development of the version 1.1.0. If you have been looking every advance and want to see the patch notes, here is the link, that also will be in the end of this new.

Continuing i want to show the new victory screen:

As you can see, a soft introduction has been added. The victory screen starts slowly part by part, after the animation starts that is completely new, the other components pop in, the speed of the numbers of troops has been augmented… A full face wash to this screen.

Besides, this change comes with new sound effects, that goes with the animation starts and the new troops apparition, conquered zones and obtained resources.

Also we have a new transition:

Animation and sounds have been added, making it smoother. Also some camera errors and other things related with transitions are fixed, making this part a lot more polished.

Also the troops will have new skins:

Each unit has two new skins that you can obtain with the gems in the game.

Remember those are free, you can unlock them while you play.

Next you can see some little changes, such as a little animation on the routes when you choose a unit:

With this you get a better glimpse of in which position you are placing a troop when you select them, by being more eye-catching.

The cards had changed, now you can choose less troops than cards you have in that moment:

With this some bugs that were around the selection of troops and cards have been fixed.

A new unlockable unit has been added to the end game. The idea with this one is to have fun conquering all the kingdoms. I don’t want to make a lot of spoilers so here is the silhouette:

Being a unit focused almost to active the “easy” mode, this one has a lot of power by itself and helps the surrounding units.

All this and others are the things that bring the version 1.1.0, as I said earlier, here is the link so you can see all the patch notes.

News:

Cover image changed.
Cloud save added.
Added an animation for the stars at the end of maps.
Revamped the final menu to have more animation.
Added sound to the final menu to accompany the animation.
Added a visual update when you choose the units, now it gets highlighted to locate it easier.
The transition has been remade, making the change more soft and adding an animation to it.
New sound effect has been added and changed.
Added minimaps to kingdoms 3, 4 and 5.
If the harder difficulty is chosen the minimaps are disabled.
Improved the sound of troops updating.
Added two new skins to each unit:

New unit, the Dragon, this one can be acquired once you conquer the last capital.
The reaper now counts as 4 units to conquer a building.
The mass counts as 4 units to conquer a building. The small one 2, and the mini as 1.
The cards now can be acquired without having the units to fill them. Besides, you can start a map without having every troop.
Added sound to each spell.

Changes:

Improvement to the tutorial map(Lonely Night Mountain Foothills).
Improvement to the tutorial map(Two fields).
Improvement to the tutorial map(Union Forest).
Improvement to the tutorial map(Brute’s Forest).
Improvement to the tutorial map(Helta rivers).
Improvement to the tutorial map(The Confluence)
Visual improvement to the tutorial map(Unique Harbour).

Fixed bugs:

The skull of "Horn island" was under the terrain border.
The skull of "The Rhodes" was under the terrain border.
Sometimes the shield from the spell and the from the lumberjack were hanging after the death of a troop.
The defense “trench” was blurred when the map started.
The camera of skill tree were moving more that it needed(There was a kind of space to the sides)
The cards that got smaller or bigger if you zoomed in or out while the cards change(spell to troops and troops to spell)
Sometimes, with specific conditions, the purchases on the skill tree could stay locked.
Sometimes the spell upgrades were already acquired.
In some maps the roads were poorly defined.
In some maps some floor parts were placed wrong.
The “bridges” on the small rivers sometimes could be seen over the troops and other decorations.
The difficulty button in options sometimes had an error.
If you win the six capital in “hard” the achievements of difficulty “easy” and “normal” weren’t unlocked.
Some skins of the Standard bearer didn’t have death animation.
The troop’s hitbox sometimes received more hits than it was meant to.
The shadows of some troops didn’t appear as they should.
The updates of conquering a build that could crash the game.
Sometimes the upgrade number was corrupted, giving errors to the system of difficulty and their achievements.
The music in the intro and some other occasions didn’t play.
One of the conquerabled buildings of the second kingdom’s capital was conquered by itself.

This game is a 9.5/10 would highly recommend. Countless Army is deceitfully good. At first, you might think, "Oh, I'll just upgrade a few times and breeze through the rest." Absolutely not! It's not just about knocking down the enemy's "map HP"; there are multiple stages where buildings block your undead, and your troops have to stop dead in their tracks. This adds a whole new dynamic of figuring out just how many troops to throw down each lane without overspending. WASTEFUL for a necromancer? I know but hey, bones don’t grow on trees!

The mix of spells and upgrades gives you so many options letting you approach each level with a fresh strategy. And with up to 5 lanes to manage at once, the depth really sneaks up on you. The variety of troops for different scenarios keeps things engaging too.

My only tiny gripe is that there’s no real penalty for losing. So far, I can retry as much as I need to, which takes away a bit of the challenge. But overall, it’s an absolute blast.
