since this seems like it's planned to be a roguelike, some passive upgrades could be fun, maybe stuff like discounts, general boosts and maybe even add some actives! (also, the ability to have multiple of the same weapon would be nice

I really like the style and the music and the gameplay is solid so far. Here are some things that could be improved: - Music track seems to start twice or loop too early or something, causing a trainwreck. I had to turn it off. - DIfficulty scaling seems a little steep, but I also suck so maybe it's just me - It would be nice if there was a way to repair my ship between missions - I would like some meta-progression or the ability to buy a new ship to continue when I die - It would be nice to be able to ...
