Amazing game, but for some notes.

1,) This game MUST be played with Controller, if you want a good experience.
2.) this game really isnt a rougelike, once you reach end game you can unlock everything permanently, the RNG aspect is really only there early on or with Boss variety.

100% worth playing. hopefully it get some notable updates that can add more Rougelike elements into the game.

The game is fun, but some caveats.

Firstly let me get all the complains out of the way:
1. Enemy spawn speed is either too fast or too slow, and no way to tell how many is left. Too fast when we are at level 3 or above and could easily get swarmed by mechs. Too slow when our build is good and we are just waiting for the next wave to come out. Each entrance should get their own "counter" to show how many more spawns are left so we can tell if we should move on to the next area.
2. The difficulty spike at lvl 3 is rough, while lvl 4 is easy... and lvl 5 is... weird.
3. Not enough shops, especially scarp parts shop. I think the problem is that we can heal in that shop, so the dev wants to limit how often they appear. But the fun of this game is to unlock more parts, and many times, we have the parts and the money, but no shop!
One way to potentially "fix" the problem is to a) separate the healing function from the parts shop, and let us heal maybe after a boss fight. b) have chip and parts shop spawn in every 2-3 rooms, so that we'd always be able to unlock something. c) or add parts shop inside boss room.
4. If we beat the final boss with parts that are not identified, they should be identified for free! Becaue otherwise we don't get to unlock them... that is, holding those parts waiting for a shop to spawn but it never did.
5. We cannot get parts dropped at exits. We can get the chips, but not the part which requires us to hold a button. The problem is that sometimes AI bugs out and they refuse to leave the entry/exit area, so when we kill them their parts sits at the exit... which we can't get.

All that being said, the game is what a mecha game should be. The story is surprisingly good too. The boss fights got boring after a while... but the final final boss made up for the challenge.

The game is super fun and addicting!
