ARC SEED is part of the Dinos vs Robots Fest!

So we have just released an updated demo for you to try it out.

It's still a work in progress so:

Only one Mech available
7 fights with one final boss
Limited number of cards and equipment
Some things will be missing, like incomplete animations, lack of tooltips for game mechanics and other stuff
We expect to keep updating in the coming weeks.
Eventually a bigger and better demo will be available by the end of March

What is ARC SEED?

This is a resume of what you can expect for ARC SEED.

First, the early access is coming in 2024, so next year! Maybe sooner than you think!

ARC SEED is a Mech Tactics game where you fight your enemies with cards.

The cards come not just from your deck but also from your current equipment.
This means that if you have a Rifle with a cool down of 1 turn, after 1 turn a Rifle attack card will appear in your hand, ready to be used.
After using it it will cool down for another turn until it will return one turn later.

This can also apply to other weapons or even active equipment.

Some guns might even need to reload, so a reload card will appear in your hand.

There is also some other important details regarding the city.
When you start the fight, don't go running and destroy half the city!
There are still people inside the buildings and you will need to give them time to evacuate!

So at the start of the fight, you need to keep the enemies away from the populated buildings.
And also not use your own weapons or stepping your giant feet into any building.

The objective is usually simple, kill the enemy and save as many people as you can!
Saving people is what gives you the funds for your next fight.
That means funds to not only repair your mech but also buy upgrades!

Demo patch

Hello!
We pushed a new update to the demo, fixing some of the issues players reported.

This is an early alpha so expect a very limited game experience with a lot of missing elements.

Fixed some bugs, including one where your mech sprite could be swapped by one of the enemies.
Improved visibility on the selectable squares
Added some missing sounds and gfx
Added new tracks and improved existing background music
We noticed many players not understanding the battery stats, so we increased the starting values. You need to charge your battery in the charging points before you run out! (we will explain this better in a future tutorial)
Fixed other minor bugs

This is the demo feedback thread. The demo is an early alpha build and we will keep updating it almost daily. UPDATE: Demo is now offline, we plan to make a 2nd demo available with a lot more content later this summer! 0.1.0d - We improved visibility of the selectable squares by changing some colors - Most players didn't noticed the battery mechanics, so we increased the starting battery values. You will need to move close to a charging point to gain more energy. Avoid running out of battery in the midd...

Old demo

Demo won't begin?

After I press the forward arrow button to start unfortunately nothing seems to load for me. I can see the UI and a white grid background but no actual gameplay. I can press end turn but again nothing seems to happen Is there anything obvious I'm missing or anything I can do from my end to fix this? Completely understand this is very much just an alpha preview and little bugs and quirks are to be expected - very much looking forward to following the development of this game!...

Can't figure out why I can't use cards

I have plenty of energy and I can't use my attacks I try getting closer, or further away When I click the attack it just makes an error sound and I can't use them Maybe they have minimum or maximum range? I can't tell
