Battleeye Requirement

I thought this is a single player demo. Why do I need to install adware onto my machine that is probably not going to get deleted after I delete the demo. Like when I play 7 Days to Die, their anti-cheat software always stays on my machine after I uninstall it... and that is an actual multiplayer game. Also, the amount of information it collects is too extreme for my privacy concerns, and it clearly doesn't comply with the EU's privacy requirements, so I'll have to pass on this one.
