This game sets the bar for writing and reactivity in RPGs. I've always been a graphics ♥♥♥♥♥ so playing a game that looks this bad was almost unthinkable to me, yet as I grew tired of the mediocrity of so called "Triple A" RPGs I've decided to give this game a try, especially since it has a demo available.

Characters are all coherent and believable, multiple stories intertwine and connect and there are tons of different endings, by far the most interesting however are the different takes that each distinct culture has on the gods and the war that destroyed the world, the quality of the writing here dwarfs anything I've seen before in any video game.

The combat mechanics are only ok and there is a dangerous lighting bug (potentially seizure inducing) that was never fixed by the devs before moving on to their next game, that combined with the terrible graphics, sound and lack of UI scaling (UI and font are too small for native 4K, 125% font is not enough) make it impossible to call this game a "masterpiece" but I do believe it's a must play if you love RPGs.
