v1.1 - New Crafting Recipes, and New Items!

Thank you all for supporting the launch of Truth Seekers! The feedback and bug reports over the past few days have been incredibly helpful. I've been working nonstop to address these issues and rebalance gameplay.

This update focuses on balance tweaks and new class based crafting options. As well as several important bug fixes. Thank you for playing, and constantly reporting all of the bugs and issues you find!

Changelog

Reduced monster damage range from 60–120 to 60–80.
Increased the Hunter’s AR-15 ammo storage from 120 to 170.
Reduced the Hunter’s camera and trap capacity.
Increased the Tracker’s camera and trap capacity.
Added Circuit Board item for crafting.

Crafting Updates

The crafting system now includes class-specific recipes:

Tracker

Added a craftable Lightning Trap. This trap includes an attached camera and deals double the damage of a standard trap.

Camera Guy

Added a Camera Upgrade recipe. Each upgrade doubles the points earned by your camera. There is no limit to upgrades.

Bug Fixes

Fixed the main menu tutorial displaying incorrect images.
Fixed the monster randomly freezing in place.
Fixed the wolf occasionally not making any sound.
Fixed the flashlight randomly turning off. You can now toggle it on/off by pressing E.
Fixed an issue where the intro screen would occasionally fail to load.

Truth Seekers

Infinite loading when trying multiplayer.

Few friends and I were trying to play multiplayer and we got two endless loading screens regardless of host.

Removed the server password option. Was causing more harm than good.
Fixed the server defaulting to the farthest away region.
Fixed the inventory menu being "wonky" and uneven.

Infinite load when trying to join a lobby and crash on loading into a level

I tried to join a friends lobby but got stuck on an infinite loading screen and couldnt join it same happens for both of us the host doesnt matter and if i try to load into a level solo i load in then theres a black screen i hear a radio and the game crashes. we both are on win11 if u need any more information to try and fix it just ask and ill give u as much info as i can the game seems fun...

1.03 Quick Patch

Quick update:

To address the connectivity issues, I have added a region selector on the main menu. Please select your closest region. I'm led to believe the loading issue/infinite loading screen is ping based. Since the servers were locked to US EAST until now, some players were missing the spawn player calls due to ping. I hope this can help sort it out.

I have also added a warning label on the create room screen. Players who connect to the master server after the room has been created, have no way of seeing the room. The warning label just mentions to please wait until all players have connected/hit play on the main menu before you create your room. Then all players should be able to see it no problem.

Sorry for the launch issues, I know it leaves a bad taste in everyone's mouth. The volume of players was never expected, so the structure was never built for it. But, I'm happy to have everyone. Thank you all for trying out my game, and constantly reporting the bugs and problems to me. I'm working non-stop to find solutions and fix all the bugs that come up.

Here's a changelog:

Fixed the class system not working properly on Frostpeak Summit.
Fixed a small memory leak.
Fixed (hopefully) those infinite loading times. (During testing, it passed all test. Please let me know if this is still an issue and I will keep working on it.)

Definitely the worst game on steam, I would rather fiddle with a piece of string tied to a rock.

Lobby not found

Hello :) me and my friend are trying to play but no matter what we do, we cant see our Lobbies to join. Is there a workaround for this problem?

Question about game / improvement

Questions about the demo, any way to use keys 3-4 to use radio and dart gun??? they don't work as of now for anyone. also, any way to pick up the spotlight cameras you place on the ground after you place them? that would be really useful and cool! Also a "gamemode" for a player to control the beast would be TWITCH/Youtube Insta Hit! as a streamer i found some of the UI a bit clunky but it's got potential!...
