How’s it going?

You may have seen in our previous post in which we shared that the team have been busy actively reviewing the feedback we’d received from the Open Beta Test we held in November, and that they were hard at work improving the quality of the full game for launch! We also let you know that we’d keep you looped in on the details of the improvement plan, and well, that time has come!

The Monster Hunter Wilds - Pre-Launch Community Update!

We’d like to invite you to join us this Thursday, December 19th at 6am PT / 2pm GMT / 3pm CET for a special broadcast, where the community team will be joined by Monster Hunter Wilds director, Yuya Tokuda, to discuss the improvements and adjustments in the works for launch.

This event is pre-recorded and will be available to watch on both the official Monster Hunter Twitch and YouTube accounts, so pick your service of choice, get comfy and enjoy the show!

Please be more like Rise, less like World

I know it has the same art style as world but I really hope this plays more like Rise. I really enjoyed how fast paced Rise is. As someone who has literally played every game and started with MH on ps2 world was my least favorite MH game. Bad weapon and armor design in the series....

We hope you all had a great time in the Monster Hunter Wilds Open Beta Test.

We’d like to share with you that the team have been actively reviewing the feedback we received from the beta and are working hard to improve the quality of the full game. Is this where we say "I told you so"

A while ago I made predictions of the game being mid (this includes performance). Of course I got shot down by all the fanboys. Where are they now? Seems like they got silenced XD Reality is a hard truth after all. And to the ones that pre ordered this game, how do you feel now? Edit: Because you fanboys are so persistent, I'll be back in February. Brace yourselves, you will all face reality yet again and get crushed by its overwhelming truth....

I dislike the increased Hitstop and return of Vaulting Dance

No, not farming clown awards, just felt the need to place my complaint somewhere the Devs may see it. Or not. You don't need to agree, you also don't need to hate me for my opinion either. In the Japanese demo event they have shown a huge increase in hitstop, looks good in some places, looks comically bad in others (like IG Strong Jumping Advancing Slash). Newest Version of Wilds playable in Japan a week ago showed much better optimization then the Beta Build

To those "wondering", since it seems that optimization seems to be the biggest criticism of this game. An embargo was lifted and players/people were able to travel to Japan and play a newer build of Monster Hunter Wilds on the normal PS5 (not the Pro version) and they had noticed far better fluidity and optimization in contrast to the beta version that everyone got to play back in November.
