one of the best if not the best horror game ive ever played

99% of my time on this game was spent on the pause screen because i was too scared to play it

Chapter 4 has the worst level design I've ever seen, but I still enjoyed the game

Being someone who doesn't suffer to the degree that this game portrays in Simon. I found each moment in the game extremely fascinating. The ambiance and level design down to the way the enemies behave. The overall feeling of the game is haunting and deeply intense having to constantly worry about something trying to kill you. I never thought that a game could hit such a deep string in the heart. It took me months to finish because I couldn't handle the feeling of the unknown and horror that is constantly being thrown at you. Each time a cut scene or dialogue would play I was attentively listening to try and understand Simon and why he was the way he was. Trying to understand what makes someone want to commit suicide is something I find hard to understand truly. I wish I could help the folks I know that deal with this kind of pain. What this game made me realize more is that the struggle is beaten when you can allow yourself a part of you to die on the inside. letting the bad stuff die I mean. letting that part of you die, the horrible and gruesome, disturbing and evil piece of you. Another thing I think I got from watching YT videos is that depending on what you choose to do you can get the good ending. I think I got the Sad one, but one step to get the good ending you have to trust a character hoping you wont get hurt or betrayed. Inevitably you do get betrayed and hurt but you can get the good ending. I hope this game helps people realize that pain is necessary, and trust is necessary, and that getting hurt by people or betrayed can be dealt with. It will take a lot of suffering but it will be OK. I hope I had a valid enough interpretation. I am going to retry from the start for the good ending. Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on me a sinner.
