Does this game have a save mode while playing?

I really want to play the game for my YouTube channel, but I can't get past the sequence where you have to wiggle through the tight space outside of your apartment. It takes literally forever. I had to give up after an hour of trying to wiggle through it in all sorts of ways. I need my PC for other things than just wiggle through a place in a game for hours. Clicking mouse and just pressing W work well. If you alternate between A and D while pressing W, you can get through in about 30 seconds to one minut...
