I don't even know where to start.

It is a good game like the past 2, this one looks a lot better and has more crops to plant, however...

Everything has to go through the main house garage with only 75,000 storage. You are unable to sell anything until it is moved to the garage. The silo, warehouse and barn seem completely worthless. There are trade contracts you can do to sell everything. Having only 75,000 garage space and having a trade contract for 150,000 makes things ridiculous. One large field could fill your entire garage leaving you with no options but to sell everything right away. Nothing stays stored in the barn, silo or warehouse, if there is space in the garage they will continue to fill it up leaving you stuck with no space again, its a never ending issue. You constantly have to sell everything to make room in the garage making trade contracts very burdensome and the timers multiply that making it even worse with the short amount of time to deliver.

Moving on... the expiration dates for goods is far too short as well and when you get a warning something is about to expire you have to sell everything you have because it doesn't tell you what is about to expire.
An additional complaint would be that all the trade contracts are identical except for the names of the companies. I currently have 6 contracts for corn all around 150,000. If you can't do one then you can't do any of them, there should be a variety of contracts with differing amounts.

If the devs read this the garage need to be expanded into the millions and the timers for contracts need to be removed or greatly extended and expiration on goods should be drastically extended. Not sure why everything has to be taken to the house garage but that just complicates everything not being able to sell from silos and barns and warehouses.

I had a lot of hope for this game. All around its a carbon copy of Farm Manager; with only a few features added. Mind you those features are forgettable at best. I started with the campaign and very quickly switched over to free play. It was absolute trash and did more to frustrate me than teach me. The tech tree is just bad; many of the techs require buildings that make no sense. If you want to raise orchards, well get ready to buy barns (animals only). Overall a very meh game. Just buy farm manager it's cheaper and just as good.

Don't be fooled... it has game breaking glitches... it comes off as deep and fun and it takes hours before it begins to break... but it does break.

Yes, It's early access and you might think "they will fix the bugs eventually..." -- but in my efforts to fix the problems I encountered, searching Google, I read that all of these same problems I'm experiencing now were in the last complete version of this franchise (Farm Manager 2021).

Workers stop working plots. You have to save and reload the game constantly to get things to progress. And eventually fields glitch out with "no warehouse in range" errors, and become unworkable.

You will play this for 10-12 hours and think it's amazing... but by the time you've spent 20 hours in it, it's broke at least once. And if you've tried the campaign and say you completed it, I think you're lying. I'm good at this, and I have a good machine... I didn't fail to complete the campaign... it broke.

I would wait until this leaves Early Access, and even then I would do some serious research at that time... don't buy this now... I'm warning you. This isn't a simple plug it in and instantly hate it... it's far worse... you fall in love with it and then it betrays you.


(Three days after posting the above as a negative review there was an update that seems to fix the "no warehouse in range" error... the game is great and deep and the devs are responsive... I'm leaving this review for posterity and to highlight the devs responsiveness.)
