so, point blank, railgun needs a mechanical buff as compared to literally anything else it is easily the worst weapon. sure flame thrower has both pitiful range and damage, but it's a status/on hit/on fire machine and meteor generator when paired with helios (i think that was the right one), shotgun is just a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ridiculous close range powerhouse and again is lovely with "on hit" effects. plus this one you can actually increase the range and accuracy of!
