Since the launch of Yasha: Legends of the Demon Blade, we’ve been through quite the journey—ups and downs alike. But through it all, our team has been discussing and responding as quickly as we can.
Today, we’re excited to share some of the major updates coming soon:

Many players have expressed their love for Taketora, our fluffy samurai, and their heartbreak over how his story played out. We’ve heard you loud and clear.
We’re adding a brand-new cutscene to his story arc—filling in the emotional gaps and bringing more closure to his tale. This update is set to roll out in about three days.
Hang in there. This part of the journey is worth the wait.

Don’t worry, Shigure’s got some love too.
Old man Hantetsusai has been forging day and night, and he’s finally crafted three brand-new demon blades—each with unique special effects and brand-new elemental traits not seen in the current system.
We’ve dropped demo videos for all three, so check them out and see how beautifully you can slice through demons!

• Dreamy Butterfly: A crowd-control blade that summons enchanting illusions of butterflies.

• Rising Phoenix: A dazzling, rainbow-colored blade that creates clones to launch surprise attacks.

• Thunderbolt XVI: Packed with flashy lightning strikes and full-screen effects—perfect for players who love visual overload.

We’ve also heard your feedback about the lack of variety in enemy waves—so we’re shaking things up.

• More randomness in small enemy encounters = more dynamic gameplay
  
• Starting from your second playthrough, enemies will be empowered by demonic energy, making each battle way more intense

The goal here is simple: Make every fight more fun and challenging.
Worried about the difficulty? Don’t be.
We’re increasing the number of rerolls for your starter Soul Orbs, so you can build toward your ideal setup faster—no more praying to RNGesus (well, maybe just a little).

Summer’s almost here, and our heroes are getting into the season with some new outfits!
Even when battling demons, you gotta stay cool, right? (Okay yeah, some of the outfits might be a bit... light on fabric.)

We’re still deciding which versions to go with, so feel free to throw us some ideas!

We’re significantly increasing the Soul Power you earn from clearing stages. This means more flexibility at the Soul Shrine to shape your talents and builds.

Working on Yasha: LDB has been a wild ride. We’ve faced a lot—miscommunication with players, gaps in our design philosophy, and realizing just how much more room we have to grow.

These lessons have been humbling but necessary. It’s clear to us now that we need to rethink how we develop—from the ground up.

Moving forward, we’re committed to being more responsive, more flexible, and more focused on what makes this game truly fun to play. This update is just the beginning.

We’ll keep fixing bugs, adding content, and improving every aspect of the experience. To everyone who’s supported us, given us feedback (both kind and harsh)—thank you.
