An incredibly basic mashup of Fire Emblem and Final Fantasy tactics game mechanics. Very amateurishly done. The "localization" if it can be called such, is basically a machine translation riddled with typos. It'd be more infuriating if I didn't get the distinct impression the underlying Japanese source material is just as slapdash.

That said, there is definite improvement in production quality across the franchise, where the latest games are almost passable, with a quality level similar to iOS/Android games of this type.
