1st: How do you get past the Giant Squid? 2nd: Why is this game over 6 gigabytes?

It is spooky and fun my only suggestion is add it so when you die there isnt a pause it might only be me but I see that. I might make a video on this game.

1.What are those purple things i found around maze?(Purple and looks like blocked door) 2.Probably i'm just bad at mazes games but sometimes game looks impossible to continue,since i found an npc on another side of wall and tried to get him,i'm looked for all ways but didn't found an way to him. Is that an feature of game or that's an mistake of creating?(Sorry for probably stupid question and sorry for my bad English)...
