I tried to play the first "The Witcher" this year but a few times when a go to Vizima, or its outsides, I'm not sure, one of the main quests seem to bug in a way I can't complete it. Basically I can't complete a mission in which I'll get an ammulet to put on its specific obellisk and so there's no way I go further on the game....

I bought all three games cause I heard how good it was. I played the first game,and I'm just not getting the hype. The combat wasn't really the problem. The story so far is just so boring. I don't really care at all that the witchers got there crap stolen,and now you hunt down some organization for it. Most of the game is simply running around town talking to NPC's. Does these games get any better? I haven't played witcher 2, or 3 yet. So far witcher 1 is a terrible game not talking about it's age either. ...

I just picked it up because I played the Witcher 3 longggg ago and I couldn't get into it. Nothing felt right about it and the story didn't capture me. I saw the collection on sale and decided to check it out. After finally reaching the 3rd chapter, I walked out of Triss' house and began the usual running back and forth. Back and forth. Then I realized. The witcher is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ boring. The mechanics have always been boring, the story is boring, the universe is mid. From 1 to 3. The games are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ lame. I...

So I'm in Act II right now and I feel like I'm getting closer discovering who's behind the whole operation, but I'm also lost mentally where the game is or even what's the main goal. The game has an insane amount of backtracking and I'm considering restarting and only doing the main quest as a result of this. So is it worth pushing through this act and completing what I can, doing all the side quests available? or should I just restart? (10 hours in)...

..but i also really don't. i don't think it's aged well, at all. should i power thru it or just skip to 2 and 3 again-?
