An overall fantastic game. At first I was a bit uninterested in the game since I don't tend to enjoy big open world games that much, but the game and islands were a blast to run through once I played the game, and the collectathon aspect of them was fun.

The open world formula was well executed and the islands were great, same goes for the open world physics and the fighting mechanics (it can be too simple at times though). The negative is that there's a noticeable drop in their quality starting the ~3 island.

The cyberspace stages are a mixed bag, some are pretty good (mostly the later and DLC ones), but all of them are watered down due to the terrible physics cyberspace uses.

Bosses might be mostly cinematic, but they're pure peak. And everything is paired with a soundtrack full of bangers. Might be one of, if not the best selection in the franchise. They cooked hard with them.

The free DLC was fun, seeing some characters playable after a solid decade felt nice. Their execution could have been a lil better but at the same time you can see they added them to test the waters for the future. And the added challenges were entertaining to play through (+ spindash is broken as hell which is great).

One of, if not, the best Sonic game we ever had.

The gameplay is really fun, the visuals are also really good, I love the realism vibes from this game.
The story is also pretty good, really nice to see the characters maturing up (we REALLY needed to see that, especially with Sonic and Amy :sob:).

Another thing I want to talk about is, THE MUSIC.
The OST of this game did NOT need to go THIS HARD. I really love the Titan Themes so much, I always get shivers anytime I hear any of them. Kellin Quinn really did a good job on the vocals of these songs, Undefeatable and Find Your Flame being my favorite songs from the game.

Good job Sonic Team! please keep up with this formula and improve it more and more 🙏
