Very strong story built on the same game type as Arkham City. The Batmobile addition was great and the combats is strong. Lots of puzzles and the audio was awesome. Lagged for me at times and I probably shouldn't have picked Hard as I couldn't finish Riddler's driving 9th trial and 2 others big fight rings. Overall 8/10.

Batman doesn't kill. But he does cause a MASSIVE bill from the hospital.

This game used to be the worst PC port ever. Even after so many years, on far more powerful hardware than the recommended one, there is still a faint trace of the disastrous optimization from those days. Today, this game works just fine, especially considering the kind of half-finished and broken games that were released years later under the "AAA" label.

In terms of story, acting and music, this is Batman at his best. The culmination of what started with Arkham Asylum. Something extraordinary that needs to be experienced and I am truly grateful that this game along with its predecessors exists. This game was the last thing Rocksteady made that I even considered buying, and I bought it for two platforms. It's always nice to get back to it, even though I've played it on PS4 for countless hours.

As for the gameplay, of course there is continuity with the earlier titles, but there is also the Batmobile, some new gadgets and tricks in the bat belt. More dynamic combat, with some new moves and animations. A different upgrade system for Batman but also the Batmobile, many side quests on a huge map of Gotham City. A step up from its Arkham predecessors in every sense.

I write this review with sadness, knowing that we will hardly get a Batman game of similar quality anytime soon.
