Nothing super exciting but this required an overhaul of a good amount of underlying code, to uncouple orders, commands and building placement from regular time. I like that bugs are getting fewer and farther in between and a lot of the Quality of Life issues are becoming ironed out.

Next up, I'm going to be adjusting the underlying saving system to prepare for implementation of the World Map.

I'm focusing on making the core gameplay tighter in preparation for the mega battle of 'World Map Building.' There's a lot of different things I worked on for this update - the most visible are Formations (drag and hold right click to automatically array your commanded citizens), and also the new Training equipment under Military > Training. It also an actual Work Assignment so you might have to set it in the Settlement panel, for existing savegames.

New Features:
- Smarter AI positioning. They evaluate the best way to coordinate with whoever's attacking with them (they flank and try to backstab) and avoid blobbing. I'm still improving the combat behaviors so they will keep on getting better from here
- Formations! Drag a group of your citizens in command mode and they will assume formations: melee in front, ranged in the back. I plan to expand more on this where, every unit grouping (1-9) can be assigned its own formation type (melee front archer back, vice versa, or archer at the wings, etc)
- Better AI tactics. AI now has a "general" that coordinates tactics - it splits attack groups into different squads working together to flank and maneuver
- Rotate buildings to be placed by holding mouse down
- Melee and Ranged dummies for your people to practice on (and improve their skills)
- Updated tutorials to reflect these recent features
