:ladybug: Bug Fixes

Fixed an audio issue where an enemy attack could cut off or “clip” the background music.
This should now be resolved and sound transitions should work properly.

:gear: Miscellaneous

Spawn’s attacks have been visually toned down for better clarity during combat.
Small blue Carnage enemies have been tweaked to improve balance and pacing.

Enjoying this game as it stands, but there's a good lot of things holding it back that I truly believe need to be addressed. Noise meter is too punishing. It feels like I can barely engage in combat. There's simply too much downtime. It's alright as an occasional mechanic. Maybe something introduced every so often as a modifier. Even then, it needs to be toned way down. Patch 0.1.3 - Now playable on Mac!

Hey everyone!
This update we have mainly focused on stability, balance, and getting the Mac version up and running.

Major changes

Mac version:
The game is now fully compatible with macOS!

Balance changes

Freeze Head:
The Freeze Head was completely overpowered and could break the game. It’s been reworked and should now behave as intended (and hopefully still be fun).
Numerous small tweaks have been made to enemies, progression, and general balance across the board.

Bug fixes

Game engine update:
We were forced to update our game engine due to a critical security change. Doing this mid-development can cause all kinds of strange issues (and it did), but we’ve hunted them down and fixed everything we could find.
Fixed countless oddities introduced by the engine update.
Other small improvements and optimizations.

- After this upcoming updates will focus more on new content!

ideas for future updates.

The chopsticks could use a little overhaul. reaper tokens are a little tedious to get and they go away on death. so 20 of them is not the easiest especially with the difficulty curve. maybe make the special beam just a straight beam when flesh guy puts the chopsticks together? and up the damage on the basic attack? I would also decrease health of minor enemies and maybe exclude old man rat till a later level since hes a little annoying to fight at the start. adding a quest page would be nice as well just s...

I really like this!!

I played past the 8th day and up to the point where I encountered the boss. This game is much more difficult than the games I usually play. But I reaaaaaally like it.

It has the essence of horror movies from the days when towns were filled with video rental stores, and the atmosphere of busily rolling around a laid-back house is very unique and one of a kind. I would love for other people to try it out!...
