At Combat Waffle Studios, we uphold a strict zero-tolerance stance against cheating in any of our games. Ensuring a fair gaming environment for our honest players is our paramount commitment, and we are continuously strengthening our anti-cheat measures.

Our recent efforts have been intensified with the addition of a dedicated anti-cheat specialist, who has played a pivotal role in fortifying our defenses in Ghosts of Tabor. As part of this initiative, we have replaced Easy Anti Cheat with the more robust BattlEye system. However, we understand that combating cheating is an ongoing battle.

To further reinforce our dedication, we have launched Operation Integrity Sweep. Leveraging BattlEye and our proprietary system "Project Resilience," we are actively rooting out cheaters from Ghosts of Tabor. Project Resilience has already identified and banned numerous individuals attempting to exploit the game in various ways over the past weeks. As a result, we have officially banned 47 cheaters/cheat developers from Ghosts of Tabor and all future CWS games.

Additionally, we are thrilled to introduce the Virtual Reality Integrity Coalition (VRIC). This groundbreaking initiative aims to revolutionize anti-cheating measures by establishing a collaborative network across VR platforms. By working with other game developers, we will implement a unified system within VRIC where penalties, such as bans, are shared across all participating games. A ban in Ghosts of Tabor will consequently apply to all other games within the VRIC network, magnifying the repercussions for dishonest behavior.

Patch 0.7.1 has now been deployed, consider restarting your Quest after patch is applied.

- Added BattlEye (replacing Easy anti cheat)
- Added stronger security to the game (in-house anti cheat systems)
- Added new arms IK (fixing a crash related to the old IK)
- Added velocity drop when using silencers (Silencers will reduce velocity and increase the “bullet drop”)
- Added 2 new silencers from SilencerCO (shotgun and pistol)

- Reworked the entire armor system. Vests will now protect areas of the body instead of only areas covered by the plates. We added blunt damage to every blocked shot which will result in a more balanced experience and providing players a better understanding of how armors work. Helmets also have been reworked to offer blunt damage on blocked shots. You can still headshot people if you hit them in non-protected area.

- Fixed NPCs not dropping after a headshot
- Fixed a lot of incorrect selector on weapons (VSS/ASVAL/Pistol safety and more)
- Fixed the Glytch can showing the wrong name on kiosk and in market
- Fixed being able to receive multiple rations of the same type

Watch your monitor when you first launch the game to accept the permission to switch from EAC to BattlEye
