Clunky troublesome aiming, hard to reload quickly (magazines tend to get stuck midway), crashes on exiting the site, tilting the left thumbstick doesn't affect the noise player make (it's always the same level, so don't try being stealthy)

Not gonna lie, it's ♥♥♥♥ right now. It has potential, i love the item system that they got but that's not what makes the game ♥♥♥♥.

i played this on the Quest 2 (Link) and it is poorly optimized for quest players.

I have a list of things that needs to be fixed before i ever want to play this game again:

1. Weapons jump around when dropped on a shelf or the ground. (Test with the Glock, it's like it always wants to balance on the barrel.

2. Fix the Pivot points on EVERYTHING. When i hold anything i want it to rotate around my hand and not around the object.
Pick up a can of tuna or something else big and rotate your hand. And it rotates around the object and not around your hands. (When you swing a sword it doesn't rotate around the center of the sword, it rotates around where your hand is)

3. Fix the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bug where guns float after killing players.

4. Standardize which button is pressed for different actions, Like this takes a really wierd turn of what grips are used for what, Like when you want to grab a magazine you press trigger. Just look at what other VR games are doing, and do what they do. (Create two different settings one for TABOR, one for Standardized)

5. Less grinding for levels, The progression is really slow for a VR game, i'm not gonna sweat in my VR headset for like 8 hours just to get one merchant to lvl 2.

there are alot of other problems that are both gameplay issues and things that should be added for quality of life improvements.

I will buy this game again when it has ironed out the issues.

mess of a game

what a poor execution of a great idea. this issue is not gameplay or tedium. this issue is poor interaction with item and need for many steps. this causes an unplayable game while you are stuck trying to figure out basic mechanics.

unless this game gets a ground up revamp. just wait for the next version of an extraction shooter (hunt FTW!) and let this die

This game has a really nice ground for it but the lack of a PVE with progression has a big issue stating that anyone with a better vr than you is always going to be able to have everything over you being stuck having to play with them feels really forceful against the people that want to just play for fun like i don't have all the time in the world to play this game i do like it but the lack of PVE has also turned alot of people playing and buying this game i do think there should be a PVE separate from PVP so you cant grind for everything and join PVP but aslo adding this game had had alot of cheaters playing it making it harder for others and i do understand that devs are always looking for better ways to get them out of games but at this stage separate game modes would be a nice add for the community and benefit the game by having this in it adding more players to play and enjoy the environment they get put into instead of forcing the game to be only played one way the benefits anything they do no matter how many hrs played

Very frustrating game - if you dont buy dlc you have no real chance of having any fun

I am so disappointed in this. It released a year ago, and it hasn't been improved at all??? Stuttering on minimum setting with a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ RTX 4070, horrible controls and gunplay, bad tutorial, and riddled with damned DLC (its not DLC. It's already in your game, you just have to pay MORE to win.) this game is absolutely not worth $32 ($36 with taxes), not even worth $15. It's like the devs have never shot, handled, or even held a gun in their lives. I'd have put up with the garbage performance if only the gunplay were better, take a page from Anton with H3VR. I am firm in my belief that H3VR is the ONLY good (and properly working) vr game with guns. Don't buy this, don't buy contractors, don't buy pavlov, dont buy anything but H3VR.

I can't believe I had this on my wishlist, I can't belive I had expectations.

Edit: All positive reviewers have also never fired, handled, or held a firearm in their lives.

Is the game fun? Yes, it can be, but playing the game with the constant wipes and reset progress gets tiring. Until they add an unranked mode for casual players who don't want to grind for 50 hours only to lose everything to a disconnect or a sweaty 12-year-old, among other things. Getting into this game takes a lot of time and effort and I just don't think I have the time for this game anymore, and that makes me sad because it was a generally good game, and I have had some wonderful memories playing with members of the community. The Devs of CWS should spend more time fixing the current issues instead of trying to sell gaming energy drinks and products with Ghosts of Tabor written on them or straight up adding items to the game for promo reasons.

Also, I cannot let this one slide: the CEO likes to murder animals for fun. Context: he posted a pic of some dead alligators a few months ago, I just cannot support that. and wish i could refund the game but i cant, do what you want in your spare time don't boast about it online and try to justify it.
