As a Kingdom veteran, here since first game's launch day and totaling around 200h of game time combined, I really enjoyed this version. It was fun. It is easier than the other games due to the mechanics present in this version and the game is shorter, but I thoroughly enjoyed myself and that's all that matters to me.
The cutscenes are simple and the story is rather bland, but it doesn't take away from the experience, especially considering there was no story to be had in the other versions.

If you really liked the previous games and you're not seeking the toughest challenge, it's worth even the full price, otherwise get it on sale. Again, I had a really positive experience as a big Kingdom fan!

Game is fun, as all the other Kingdom games.

Even though I was born in 2008 and didn't experience the '80s at all, this game, Kingdom Eighties, totally captivated me. Seriously, the story and the whole game are brilliant, and they showed me a world I only knew from movies.

It's incredible how the developers managed to recreate that atmosphere. For me, everything was a discovery: the neon lights, the synthwave music, and especially the story about the gang of kids defending their town from those monsters, the Greed. You feel like you're in a classic movie from that era, even if you didn't live through it. The gameplay is super engaging – that mix of strategy and base-building got me hooked immediately.

And now, the only downside, but an important one for me: it's way too short. It's a super high-quality experience, you have a blast, but it ends right when you feel you're getting into it the most. I truly hope that if they make a sequel, it will be much, much longer, because this entire game series deserves to have an extreme amount of content.
