Okay so usually i dont leave in depth reviews but for this game i REALLY feel the need to. I am late to the cod game, played a little growing up but never got into it until MW3 so this review is only coming from someone who is new to it. After 200 hours, I honestly loved playing with friends especially multiplayer but recently have gotten more into zombies. I really liked the open world grindy feel of this zombies. Never really had any issues with crashing or lagging UNTIL RECENT. About a week ago they put out an update for the game which was for season 3 reloaded and I have crashed in zombies now 7 times since then.... Full freeze and crash to desktop. Let me also mention that it isnt just happening to me, twice now, the entire server and players have crashed and lost everything as well as some party mates of ours who have also crashed.

Since happening, multiple of us have tried reinstalling the game, changing our settings, and priority. Nothing has worked. 7-10 times we have gone into zombies, full on crashed, and lost everything. And this game does not have a single backup plan for crashing mid game so you do not get to get ANYTHING back. I have tried to check reddit and twitter for answers as well as @ing them on twitter but nothing seems to help unless you want an answer from a bot.

I personally do not have experience with prior cod games, but from my experience recently, this is such a lazy put together of a game. I spent $150 on this game for 3 of us to play as well as spending hundreds for skins in the game as well. It really seems like a waste of money for the lack of effort they seem to have for this game anymore. ESPECIALLY coming out with a new game every single damn year. If you are going to scam your players out of a $70 game every year, I would expect at least a little effort to keep your servers running and keep your players happy.

That being said, most companies and games nowadays are just another money grab which it seems this game is also turning into. Sad to see. I recommend for multiplayer but unfortunately the game has quite literally forced me to not be able to play zombies until they work on their game.

Believe the other bad reviews. At around 100gb of storage space for what amounts to a headache-inducing amount of ads and extremely questionable permissions requests, it's safe to call this one extremely bloated adware and give it a pass.
Seriously, this wasted like an hour of my life between downloading, installing, installing more stuff, loading a bunch of extra ****, and finally launching. F*** that.

Found this in my library and decided to give it a try. Downloaded it and was immediately forced to make an Activision account to access it (first cardinal sin of AAA gaming). A flurry of popups and assorted messages assaulted my eyes and the game force-rebooted itself to initialize the account. Oh well, I thought, maybe the actual game will be worth it. The shaders didn't pre-initialize before the game launched? It might negatively impact performance? Jesus Christ, OK. Optimize yo shiz. I spent around 5 more minutes trying to find a single player campaign and it turns out there isn't one (!!), at least as far as I can tell, and if there is I won't be digging through the river of sh!t to find it. F*** me. I wanted to waste a few hours on a game I may not even come back to and instead was assaulted with advertisement after advertisement and horrendous frame dropping on promotional cutscenes that amounted to what you'd find in a Steam store page trailer, after which I was forced to sit through EVEN MORE of the same aggressively in-your-face attempts to force me to buy other games or play multiplayer. I have never played a CoD game before and there's no way I'm playing multiplayer after how many times I've seen players complain about getting banned for no reason and Activision's well known rampant security issues. Somehow, I didn't expect the money-grubbing to be quite this bad, but holy ****.

Absolutely the worst COD ever made. It runs incredibly smooth being the smoothest COD ever. That's about the only good thing. The silly AI voice mod feature randomly penalizes you for no reason. If you like to have fun and trash talk over the mic avoid!!!!!!!!!! Also it's pay to win!

I really wanted to like this game... COD was a big part of my childhood. World at War was my first multiplayer game and it's sad to see the state of Call of Duty right now.

The process of downloading warzone took far longer than it needed to be probably in the hopes I would somehow get confused and accidentally buy MW3. I put up with it thinking "My nephews and I are going to have so much fun playing COD."

After the long and drawn out downloading process, I finally loaded up warzone. I went into a match and my game crashed....ok...try again....CRASH! I wait a little bit for my nephews to get out of their game and I try again. Once I'm finally in a match the textures are extremely bad and my gun is completely invisible. My attempts at getting kills was hopeful sprays into a general direction because I had no gun crosshairs or sights to aim down.

Every time I load up warzone this will happen. It takes about 15-20 mins of play time to get to a point that my guns are visible. From there I just have to hope my game doesn't crash.

I'm not too big into a lot of the skins you can buy, but one thing I find amusing about this game while playing it is the amount of people that buy crazy skins. You won't be able to play this game for 5 minutes without being lasered by some dude shooting rainbow unicorn piss out of all of their weapons. Simply HILARIOUS to me and it distracts me from how unplayable the game is.

Definitely not the COD experience I grew up with. If I'm comparing this game to others out there right now...this falls pretty low on the list of games I want to play. Only reason it's still on my computer is so that I can play a game my nephews are into. I don't know when COD started making games this bad. It's almost a chore to start playing this game trying to navigate the laggy menus and the unplayable state of the game. Even with the game being free to play, I would never play this game willingly on my own.
