Announcing Chico's Rebound!

Today we're excited to announce a spin-off/sequel to Chico and the Magic Orchards is in development!

In Chico's Rebound, you'll go with Chico and his new friend Beeatrice on an adventure up the mysterious Celestial Tower! Inside you'll take on block-breaking challenges using your trusty walnut. Break all the blocks in a stage to move on, and deploy an array of returning and new walnut powerups to clear it in the fewest number of shots!

In between those challenges you'll explore the Celestial Tower and all its nooks and crannies, and uncover the secrets it holds within!

Game doesn't start

This has never happened to me before, I'm able to launch every other game I own but for this one it just says 'running' and nothing pops up. I've tried restarting Steam and my PC. Help?

Chico 3.0.0, Chinese and Japanese Localization!

A free update for Chico and the Magic Orchards is now available. The game has been fully localized into Japanese and Simplified Chinese! We are so pleased to be able to bring Chico to new audiences.

If you are starting a new game you will be asked to choose a language, and you can select the Language option in the Pause menu to change your language at any time.

Changelog:
- Full Japanese localization
- Full Simplified Chinese localization
- Improved jump handling
- Plenty of bug-fixes and improvements!

Portuguese update and bug fixes!

A free update for Chico and the Magic Orchards is now available, including a Portuguese language option! We are so excited to be able to bring Chico to the Portuguese-speaking world.

If you are starting a new game you will be asked to choose a language, and you can select the Language option in the Pause menu to change your language at any time.

Changelog:

Full Portuguese localization
Fixed a bug in Idyllic Islands 2 where you could clip through certain level elements
Fixed a bug in Idyllic Islands 2 where you could soft-lock the boss fight
Fixed a bug in Idyllic Islands where tidal edges were not properly drowning Chico in full color mode

Game breaking crash?

Nobody here, huh...? I'm enjoying the game, it's simple and charming, but after clearing the villa stage and rescuing all the bees, I exited the stage as instructed from the pause menu, but it caused the game to crash and the game no longer works at all, it won't start up in steam... I doubt I'll get a response, but did anyone else have this problem?...

Awesome game!

I just bought this game because I randomly discovered it and the retro art style got me so interested! I love how platforming and puzzles are intertwined. Maybe that's why I'm liking the game so much. I wanna share some thoughts below just so that the game might eventually improve and draw more players in, or rather, keep players around. The gate art kept being a bit misleading to me, on the first levels, I didn't even realize the gate was down and I can move on. I was on the verge of quitting actually lm...

Tough Nut Bug

Went to start a new game for the tough nut achievement after 1st playthrough and it gave it to me automatically? Also it said tutorial was already done? is this a well known bug?
