Dear Dudes, Dudettes, and Duddos!

I haven't posted for more than a month but I have two good reasons for that:

ONE

being the DLC for Victorian Debutante - Ever After - I would have linked it in here directly but, alas, I have to show Steam gods what makes the DLC an 18+ piece. Then, they'll have to think over it for some time, so I'm not sure when I'll be able to share the store page with you (my bad, though, I need to create enough content for Steam to know what I want Ever After to be like).

TWO

- I'm remaking an old game of mine! It'll be cute and colourful and bouncy just look at the logo below!

However, I don't intend Kitty Kitty Bounce Bounce to be a kid game, regardless of how sweet it seems. It will tackle some serious issues and contain a bloody secret level, so maybe don't buy it for your younger relatives and friends (I totally would but you can be better than me).
I am, however, getting ahead of myself. Let's quickly return to here and now. Today's update:

texts for story 8, 9, 10, and 11 have been replaced with improved ones,
ending portraits now also have hover animations, behold the beauty of breathing,
new background for wiki, now it looks slightly more like a book

That'd be it for today but I shall be back with more cool info soon enough! Until then, enjoy the summer and the Visual Novel Fest,

Demo Issues

Hello, I have been interested in checking out the game so I decided to take a look at the Demo. However... I can't launch the Demo. At all. If you launch it from the desktop icon or Green Play button... It gives you an executable error... Says missing files? Okay so I found the game folder itself and I launched the .exe file from there... I could finally launch the Demo, but...! I can't change the resolution to something smaller than 1900x1080... Aka not being able to re-size the screen at all, a...

Dear Dudes, Dudettes, and Duddos!

The time has finally come and the update with hover animations is LIVE! I'm very happy with how it all turned out, with the scarce framerate making them pretty retro-looking and the sounds completing each composition. I do hope you'll share my sentiment when playing and exploring each picture anew!

I'll be uploading some animations and sounds for the ending portraits later on and enlarge the size of the game even further - I mean, with this update it's doubled and for some reason it makes me very happy. On that note, I wish you a happy and relaxing summer sale season! I'm sure I will, treating myself to some cute indie games!

Dear Dudes, Dudettes, and Duddos!

I know the announcement's title is corny but it'd be a lie to say I'm not absolutely amazed by what it means to be. Last year, Victorian Debutante couldn't part-take in the sale because it has been published soon after. In a very short time now, my debut game will celebrate its first anniversary and I - my first year as a game dev. It feels unreal and quite motivating and I know this is the way of life for me. I can't wait to put in use all the skills and knowledge I have possessed during those 12 months of being published into new projects.

ANYHOW

, Victorian Debutante will be on discount for the duration of the Steam Summer sale but also on Itch Summer Sale, so you'll have some time to get yourself (or some else, for that matter!) on the platform of your choice!

Oh, and one last thing! I'm uploading a huge update with hover animations tomorrow! Can't wait to share it with you!

Can't choose any of the options

Hi, so I've encountered a bit of a problem. Whenever I launch the game and start a new save I can't seem to be able to click on any of the options. I mean, I click on one the choices, the text isn't highlighted anymore, but then nothing happens. I don't proceed to the next scene or anything. I click around a few times, I choose again and nothing. Game GUI makes the game unplayable

Hello! This game is very intriguing and i'd really love to play it, but unfortunately it starts off at the smallest resolution setting and even when I input options to change it, it simply won't. On top of that, I think because of that, whenever I go into the options screen I can't leave it and have to force-exit the game. If the escape button is supposed to work, it doesnt' for me. Neither the demo or the game launches . same message appears ( an error occured while updating victorian debutante {missing executable ) ? I have restarted the computer and verified the integrity of the files. what is the problem ?
