The Genre Mix of Metroidvania nd Shoot em up doesnt work for me in this Game

The Armor System is stupid it just gives you temporary Hit Points

And the worst Part is the Card Skill System just let me pick my skills and use them with the mana.

A good combo of metroidvania, twin stick/bullet hell shooter card battler. It's a fun innovation on mixing multiple good genres.
By the end your player feels like a powerhouse, nice progression. Difficulty can be a little too varied but a decent challenge usually.

This game is great. It fits squarely into the metroidvania, platformer and bullet hell genres, and scratches a similar itch to Hollow Knight or Sundered. Gameplay is comparable in difficulty to these until the lategame, where you can unlock an utterly broken build and flatten everything. Even hitless and timed achievements become almost trivial. If you're having trouble reaching that point, there are cheats that can enabled.

The controls are smooth and satisfying, and you'll be able to fly from start to finish. Gravity is for losers. There is one underwater segment that's a little annoying, but manageable.

The deckbuilding aspect is at odds with the fast-paced, unforgiving gameplay; cards are drawn randomly and are shown at the bottom right corner of the screen. Understanding what you're playing is a luxury you sometimes won't have. There aren't a ton of cards, but enough for at least 1 optimized archetype and a few strong-looking builds if you're inclined to experiment.

There's around 20 hours of content here. The final boss expects you to have unlocked the lategame gun option (ghost gun) and you will have a very rough time choosing to fight it otherwise.

The art style is consistent (subjectively I quite like it) and the soundtrack is pretty good. The story has a lot of commentary on environmental issues, war, and media manipulation. It's not exceptionally good or bad. Individual dialogue is decent and so is the worldbuilding. Also it has surprise Necrons. Everyone loves Necrons.

I would gladly recommend The Knight Witch to anyone considering it, especially those familiar with the genre. Well worth the playthrough.
